#IamRemarkable
#IamRemarkable Workshop for Women’s Month
Google UK, in collaboration with FT Talent, conducted an empowering #IamRemarkable workshop on Tuesday, March 14th at the FT Studio. This Google-initiated 90-minute workshop, led by Nada Faridane, Head of Global Partnerships at Google UK and Hayah Alshihabi, FT Talent Community Manager, aimed to promote self-advocacy and celebrate personal and professional achievements among women and underrepresented groups.
The workshop provided participants with valuable information and tools to practice self-promotion in a safe and supportive environment. By doing so, it aimed to boost confidence, unlock career opportunities, and inspire others to join the movement.
During the workshop, participants were encouraged to reflect on their achievements and proudly share what made them remarkable. By the end of the session, attendees were equipped with a comprehensive toolbox to effectively practice self-advocacy, articulate their unique value, and reframe their mentality and language when celebrating accomplishments.
Google UK and FT Talent's joint effort in co-hosting the #IamRemarkable workshop underscores their commitment to challenging social perceptions and stigmas for women and underrepresented groups, fostering a more inclusive and supportive professional environment.
